Jack’s Magazine Tours are back! Join us on the first Sunday of the coming months as we unlock the gates to one of Melbourne’s most intriguing heritage sites. Step behind the imposing bluestone walls and explore its historic buildings, tunnels, tramways and giant earth mounds on foot, while discovering the site's vital role in Victoria’s gold mining era, both World Wars and the industrial development of the local area. Leading the tour is Andy Calvert, who has been guiding visitors through Jack’s Magazine since 1993. With deep knowledge and a gift for storytelling, Andy brings the site’s history to life.
