Working Heritage is the proud recipient of solar power generation and other energy-saving capital upgrade measures on seven of the properties we manage on behalf of DEECA. The Solar on Public Buildings program is a $9.2 million initiative funded by the Victorian Government. This exciting program was introduced to support the long-term sustainability of volunteer Crown Land committees of management by reducing energy costs and promoting an energy-efficient future for community assets.

Working Heritage now has new solar power generation systems along with other energy-saving upgrades at the following of our properties:

  • Jacks Magazine, Maribyrnong
  • South Melbourne Temperance Hall, South Melbourne
  • Drysdale Scout Hall, Drysdale
  • Carome Homestead, Mernda
  • Farm Vigano site, South Morang
  • Skipton Courthouse Reserve, Skipton
  • Warracknabeal Courthouse, Warracknabeal
